RETURN, REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Final Sale

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all sales are final.

Due to the unique nature of rare gemstones, mineral specimens, rough material, and one-of-a-kind jewelry, we do not accept returns, exchanges, refunds, or credits based upon:

buyer’s remorse

change of mind

preference

natural variations

color differences between displays

future market value

independent grading opinions

2. Condition

Items are sold as-is and as-described.

Natural inclusions, growth structures, matrix, color zoning, fractures, and other naturally occurring characteristics are part of the nature of mineral specimens and are not considered defects unless specifically represented otherwise.

3. Independent Laboratory Testing

Buyers are welcome to obtain independent laboratory testing after purchase.

Laboratory opinions obtained after purchase do not automatically create a right to return, exchange, or refund.

Should credible evidence demonstrate that an item was materially misrepresented, we will review the matter in good faith in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

4. Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests submitted before shipment may be approved solely at our discretion.

Approved cancellations may be subject to deductions for:

non-refundable merchant processing fees

payment processor fees

shipping labels already purchased

insurance costs

other third-party costs already incurred

5. Chargebacks

Buyers agree to contact us first regarding any concerns before initiating a chargeback.

Chargebacks based solely upon buyer’s remorse, delayed expectations within the published fulfillment window, misunderstanding of natural characteristics, or dissatisfaction unrelated to material misrepresentation are considered violations of these Terms.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

permanent account closure

cancellation of future orders

collection of associated fees

reporting to merchant fraud prevention services when appropriate

6. Communication

If a buyer believes an item has been materially misrepresented, they must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear documentation supporting the concern.

We will review all documented claims fairly and in good faith.

7. Documentation

We retain invoices, payment records, communications, listing photographs, packaging documentation, and shipping records for our protection and that of our customers.

8. Privacy

Customer information is used solely for processing orders, providing customer service, fulfilling legal obligations, and operating our business.

Information is never sold to third parties.

9. Governing Terms

These policies represent the complete agreement governing purchases from The Sugilite Collection.

Nothing within these Terms limits any statutory rights afforded to consumers under applicable law.
